A Family Beginning
Fernand Denis is a family owned heating and cooling company with over 49 years of satisfied customers in Glengarry, Prescott and Russell. It all began in 1976 when Fernand saw an opportunity. At that time, it was a home based business in St. Isidore with a single truck. While Fernand’s wife Françoise did the paperwork, he went door-to-door fixing and servicing furnaces. In 1983, Fernand earned his propane license and hired the first full-time employee. Soon after, a second truck was added and it wasn’t long before the company jumped to four employees.
Growing Into a Local Leader
In 1991, the company took another leap forward when a full office and shop were built in St. Isidore. By 1996, Fernand’s sons, Pascal and Patrick, joined the company. Today, Fernand Denis has over 35 employees and is the industry leader for heating and cooling in Glengarry, Prescott and Russell. With hundreds of satisfied customers, Fernand Denis is also the first choice for homeowners and builders in St. Isidore, Casselman, Embrun, Alexandria, Clarence-Rockland, Hawkesbury and everywhere in between.
